I am trying to connect my Nintendo Switch to my screen without having to disconnect my laptop and connect my switch, so I bought an HDMI to USB-C cable.
My setup now is: My laptop is connected via HDMI and my Switch via USB-C. I have auto-switch on, so ideally what would happen is when I am using my laptop my screen displays my laptop, and when I am using my Switch my screen displays my Switch.
However, whenever I connect the USB-C and try to use the monitor, the message "Unqualified USB-C cable" appears. It says that "it is recommended" to use a HP-approved cable, so there should be a solution I guess? But I can't seem to find it.
The cable and the Nintendo are both new.
Thanks a lot in advance.
