@RodBkp, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The HDMI-In port on your HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-d0080 is designed to allow you to use the PC's display as an external monitor (e.g. for a console, laptop, or streaming device). However, just plugging in the HDMI cable won't automatically switch the display — you need to manually enable HDMI input mode.

How to Display HDMI Input on Your HP All-in-One:

Make sure the external device (source) is powered on and connected to the HDMI-In port on the HP All-in-One.

On the HP Pavilion All-in-One:

Look at the bottom edge or side of the screen.

Press the physical button labeled “HDMI IN”.

This button switches the PC’s display from its internal input to the HDMI-In source.

After a few seconds, your screen should show the display from the connected device.

If nothing appears:

Make sure you're using the HDMI-IN port (not HDMI-OUT).

Check that the external device is set to output video via HDMI.

Try another HDMI cable to rule out cable issues.

Wait 5–10 seconds after switching to HDMI-IN mode.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
