Hi,
There are many 24 r0xx models. Can you provide the exact model number or product number for further help. Here is link to HP support page showing how to find it.

Some of the models have two HDMI ports, one is an in port where you could connect your laptop to and the other is an out port where you could connect a monitor.

OK Frank. If you look at the specification page for your procduct under I/O ports (Back ports) number 8 is the HDMI in port which you should connect to the HDMI port of your PC. Have you tried this?
