Product: HP Pavilion 22cw Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a brand new HP 22cw Monitor, but the screen is far too bright, and the directions that came with it are about as clear as mud.  However, I have found the Menu buttons (finally), but when I bring them up on the screen, I can't do anything with them. 

Can someone please tell me how to use the menu buttons once they appear on the screen? I've tried touching them, but that doesn't work, and the cursor disappears behind them when I try to do it that way. Help, please!

Setting Up the Monitor for details is in page.10 in the same document.

Page no.18 explains about the software for operating the monitor.
