I wanted to connect my device to the projector, but the image wasn't being transmitted. I tried two methods:
1. Through the HDMI port, but then I noticed that the device only has an HDMI-In port, not an HDMI-Out.
2. I purchased an adapter from HDMI to DisplayPort, but the issue persisted, and the image was not displayed.
Using the Win+P menu, the options for extension and duplication also did not work. The display cannot be detected in the "Screen Settings" menu. I updated the graphics card drivers and even updated the BIOS, but the problem still persists.
How can I resolve this issue?

Looking at the setup guide
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_5956564-5956609-16
indicates that you are correct in the HDMI port is for input only, so trying to use that port will not allow using it as an output. That guide does show a display port (which is for output) item #6 on page 6 of that PDF
Try using that port for connecting to the projector.
I'm not an HP employee.
