I’ve recently gotten a pc and HP monitor, after it being set up I turn the monitor on and and greeted with “Video input and Video source not found”. I believe my wires are plugged in correctly so I’m not sure how to fix it. If I’ve done something wrong please tell me !

@cwaite8 -- your monitor has both VGA and DisplayPort video-input ports.

Does your computer have either a VGA output port or a DisplayPort output port?

Do you have a VGA-to-VGA cable tightly connected from the computer to the monitor?

Do you have a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable tightly connected from the computer to the monitor?

Note that some older computers have a VGA port very-close to the USB ports.

Others have a VGA port that is part of an "add-in" video-card.

In such a situation, the VGA port near the USB ports is automatically INACTIVE -- you must connect the VGA-to-VGA cable to the VGA port on the add-in video-card.
