Hello everyone,

 

I have an HP Kayak XU, which I want to put back in use for CAD. It runs Windows NT 4.0 Workstation. There is only VGA video output. I previously used the machine with a Sony high resolution monitor; I know it's capable of better than VGA. I want to connect it to an NEC LED monitor, which has a DVI-D connection. Mouse and keyboard connection to the computer is PS-2. I tried a new USB mouse with a USB to PS-2 adapter, but it can't see the mouse.

 

In the past, I have gotten very effective help through this forum with HP Z workstations. I hope someone out there is old enough to remember a Kayak.
