Error Message: Camera failed to start. 

 

This happened when accessing Zoom

I reviewed your post and I understand that the webcam is not working on your computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I followed that link and have done everything I can fine - checked in settings, checked in device manager, updated drivers, restarted computer, etc. There is a white circle with a line through it in my camera and it will not work. Please help!

Thanks for getting back to me.  I figured it out - there is a slider button on the top edge of the display, I simply had to slide it to the open position! 🙂

I am having an issue in zoom as well as any app with a camera. I've done all the trouble shooting and my camera works, just not in an app except for YouCam. I went and looked for a slider in zoom test meeting and i am not seeing it. Was it in the black zoom window, along the side?

For the HP all-in-one, on the top edge of the monitor, in the centre, is a button that slides to manually open and close the camera. Hope that resolves your issue!:)
