I have the EliteDisplay E243m monitor and use it for a lot of videoconferencing. The camera seems to be very light sensitive, my desk is in front of a window and unfortunately can't be moved but in this position with the window behind me I am very backlit on calls and look very dark. Is there a way to change the Settings on this to brighten my image even with a light source behind me?

Hello
check with the parameters of the software used if there are possible modifications
but in general you can't change a lot of parameters
it is certainly not possible for you to modify the parameters of the webcam directly.
Otherwise, the best option would be to block this window at this time with a curtain thick enough for it, if you can not change places.
[edit]
I just found an article in French
there would be a possibility with software
it would be possible to use software
I can't guarantee anything, but if you want to try
This little free software, absolutely safe, allows you to easily access the hidden parameters of Windows 10 to be able to modify each setting, not only the brightness, but also Contrast (to have a more defined image), Tint (to change the color) , Saturation (to put more or less emphasis on the colors), Sharpness (to make the webcam less blurry), Range, white balance, Backlight is I gain (to add brightness), then advanced settings, s 'they are supported by the webcam, such as zoom, exposure, aperture, pan, tilt and rotate.
The Webcam Settings program can be downloaded from the developer's website with the choice of a program to install or a program to run only without installation. By downloading the latter, just extract the zip file to a folder and then run the WebcamConfigurationTool.exe file to open the webcam control panel.
In the program window, you just have to choose, in the drop-down menu at the top, the webcam to configure. After that, the captured image appears on the screen.
Then by pressing the Settings key, you can use the different sliders to change the brightness, contrast, tint, sharpness, etc., previewing how it changes. When satisfied, you can press OK to save the changes. The new settings will be saved and all programs and applications that can use the webcam, such as Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Chrome, etc. they will all use the same settings.
Keep in mind that we may not be able to change all settings

I just tested
I don't know if it's effective, but I opened the software
changed settings
then closed again because otherwise impossible to use the microsft camera application,
but the result is not convincing for me
on the first try it seemed to work
but ultimately nothing better than an open camera app
