My video crashed after the latest July 2020 win 10 update. I would like to use an older VGA monitor to test the system. There is a plastic cover over the VGA port on the back of the desktop. 1/8", 3/32", and 2.5mm allen wreches are either too big or two small. What size tool will remove the connector screw for the cover?

Hello
sorry, but I have a big doubt ...
If it's this computer, there is something wrong !!
HP Pavilion 690-0034 Gaming Desktop PC Product Specifications
Indeed we can see that there are graphic connectors, only it is mentioned:
- The Sunflower motherboard does not support integrated graphics.
and here :
Sunflower motherboard specifications.
- AMD Radeon Graphics
So hard to say if it works ..
But I don't see why to place connectors if they are not usable
you have the doc here:
I guess your concern is at this level?

You need a special screwdriver try to search with what is mentioned: torx t15 screw
