Model 24-g237c all-in-one desktop. Worked fine until HP sent me updates which I installed. After that the touchscreen no longer works. When I go to the Device Manager there is no listing for the Touchscreen and the monitor driver is a generic driver. If I esc on restart to the BIOS menu the touchscreen does not work there.
Can't seem to find an update for the bios on my system (AMI F.45). Tried removing and reinstalling the video driver...no change.
The system seems to work fine except that there is no longer a touchscreen.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Microsoft System Restore returns your computer to the files and settings from the restore point. Your personal files and documents are not affected. You can also undo a System Restore if the restore does not resolve the issue or if the issue becomes worse.
- Save any open files and close all open programs.
- In Windows, search for restore, and then open Create a restore point from the results list. ...
- On the System Protection tab, click System Restore. ...
- Click Next.
- Click the Restore Point that you want to use, then click Next.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
