HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i RCTO Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

My monitor is the ASUS DUAL-GTX1050TI-O4G OC 4 GB, which has a DVI connector

My new HP ENVY Desktop TE02-0250xt PC came with a NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti (8 GB GDDR6X dedicated),

Display Connectors: HDMI*1, DP*3

Should I use the  NVIDIA® GeForce RTX HDMI or switch to a different DVI graphics card

@BozieBeMe2,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

If I understand your question directly, if you can choose between HDMI, DP or DVI graphics ports for gaming, the order of preference/graphics performance should be (on balance) DP, HDMI and then DVI.

The RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 is obviously insanely faster than a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti vs RTX 3070-Ti.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
