This display literally just shattered from a bump up against a concrete wall. I have the manufacture warranty but it won't cover the damage. I am looking for a screen replacement but do not know the parts or make of the actual LCD panel. The entire monitor is in good condition just the LCD Panel needs replacing. Can anyone please tell me the make and model of the LCD panel so I can fix this and prevent it from ending up in the landfill. Thank you.

@Christopher341 -- is this your monitor: HP Z27 27-inch 4K UHD Display Specifications | HP® Customer Support
Some of the specifications for the screen are listed.
Also, see: HP PartSurfer (click this link!) to search the HP Warehouse.
When the page is displayed, hold-down the CTRL key on your keyboad, then tap the "F" key, just once.
Into this "search-window", type display and press ENTER, to scroll-down past the list of "Elite" devices, to the list of "Z27 display" devices. Click one of the 34(!) links, to get a detailed component listing for one of those 34 displays. You might get "lucky", and be able to avoid any "N/A" ("not available") entries, and then be able to purchase a replacement screen.
The only question is whether purchasing from the HP Warehouse is less expensive than purchasing a brand-new 27-inch monitor (not necessarily from HP).

Thank you for your response. I was looking more for information as to who produces the panel so I can source the replacement. Could not find any information on this site. As such I basically have dismantled it and sent it to a recycling center. A 600.00 dollar loss. I will no longer purchase HP products that's for sure.

My expectation is that you would have had to disassemble the computer, to view any product-labelling on the back of the screen, and then do a Google-search on any text, to try to determine which manufacturer (Taiwan? Philippines? Thailand?) produced the screen.

I did exactly that turns out it is LG that produces it and sourcing one is a major headache. Only supplier is in Pudong, China. The module is not available here in the U.S and the screen is worth 254.00 not including shipping and import duties. As such it is not economically feasible. Therefore it is relegated to the recycling bin. Crazy the current state of affairs. The entire monitor gets chucked because of a crack on the LCD display. For anyone that has a Z27 monitor and needs to know who manufactures the screen it is LG and the model number of the screen is LG LM270WR3-SSA-1
