Hi,
I've always had my Logitech C925e webcam connected to one of the USB-A ports on the underside of my HP Z27 display. It has always worked great.
It only happened in the past that the LED on the webcam started flashing, and the webcam was no longer recognized. This issue disappeared in some way, and I couldn't understand how.
Now, the problem has started appearing again, and now has been so bad that the webcam is no longer recognized.
I connected it to another USB port in my system, and it works fine.
Back to the Z27, and it still can't be recognized.
The webcam requires 500mA to work, and the ports are declared by the Mac's System Profiler to be supplying enough power.
So, what may be the problem? Has the display stopped sending the same amount of power? Or is it some other thing?
I've changed anything in hardware or software. Intel Mac with Monterey.
Thank you for any hint.
Paolo
