Hi @Izakaro,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The issue you're experiencing with the Caps Lock indicator on your HP All-in-One Desktop PC can be a bit stubborn, but there are a few other methods you can try to resolve it or manage its behavior. Here are some steps you might consider:
HP Support Assistant: Make sure your HP Support Assistant is up to date. This software often includes specific drivers and utilities for your HP hardware, including keyboard notifications. An update might correct the issue or provide more options for managing notifications.
Check HP Software Updates: Apart from the HP Support Assistant, you can directly check HP’s website for any software updates specific to your model. Sometimes, firmware or BIOS updates can address such issues.
Disable HP Hotkey Service: If updating doesn't help, you might try disabling the HP Hotkey service to see if that stops the notification. You can do this through the Windows Services Manager:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and find the HP Hotkey UWP Service.
- Right-click it, select Properties, set the startup type to Disabled, and stop the service if it's running.
- Click OK and restart your computer.
Windows Notification Settings: Sometimes, adjusting the Windows notification settings can help manage these alerts:
- Go to Settings -> System -> Notifications & actions.
- See if there’s an option related to Caps Lock or keyboard settings and adjust accordingly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
