Hi @robotron59,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you accidentally deleted an app from your HP Victus 15-fa0032dx and need to reinstall it, here are the steps you can follow:

1. Check the Recycle Bin

  1. Open the Recycle Bin:
    • Double-click the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop.
  2. Search for the App:
    • Look for the deleted app in the Recycle Bin.
    • If you find it, right-click on the app and select Restore.

2. Use the HP Recovery Manager

Open HP Recovery Manager:

  • Press Win + S and type HP Recovery Manager.
  • Select HP Recovery Manager from the search results.

Reinstall Applications and Drivers:

  • In HP Recovery Manager, look for an option like Reinstall drivers or applications.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the app you deleted.

3. Use Microsoft Store

Open Microsoft Store:

  • Press Win + S and type Microsoft Store.
  • Select Microsoft Store from the search results.

Search for the App:

  • Use the search bar in the Microsoft Store to find the app you deleted.
  • Click Install to reinstall the app.

4. Download from the App's Official Website

  1. Visit the Official Website:
    • If the app is not available in the Microsoft Store, visit the official website of the app.
  2. Download and Install:
    • Download the latest version of the app from the website.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.

5. Restore from a System Restore Point

If the app was pre-installed or you cannot find it through the previous methods, you can try restoring your system to a point before the app was deleted:

Open System Restore:

  • Press Win + S and type Create a restore point.
  • Select Create a restore point from the search results.

System Restore:

  • In the System Properties window, click on the System Restore button.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your system to a previous state where the app was still installed

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
