auto-detection by computer of LA1905wg monitor rotation

Can a computer detect the rotation of the LA1905wg monitor and adjust the orietation of the image on the display automatically?

Has it ever worked for anyone on any Windows operating system?

(Yes, I realise the manual key combination to change the image orietation is cntrl-alt together with one of the arrow keys) 

I'm using windows 10 (64-bit), and the hdmi port on the computer is connected to the DVI port on the monitor.

(There is a USB port on the monitor but it is not currently connected to the computer)

For me, yes, but it was many years ago. Details have left my brain.

Your monitor has a built-in USB "hub" -- you could connect a keyboard and/or mouse to those USB ports, and another USB cable would connect from your monitor to a USB socket on your computer, to transmit your actions (mouse-clicks, keyboard-presses) to your computer.  That is the only use of those USB ports. Those ports are not part of the "video" circuitry of your monitor, and cannot signal any "rotation" of the screen.

Possible with a computer / tablet, which has a sensor device ..
it can work with webcam, from what i've seen, but i don't know if possible with computer screen, even with webcam
On windows 10 it works with tablet mode
