HP Desktop PC M01-F2000a (536Z7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

As per the description, I bought a new desktop computer with integrated AMD Radeon graphics and Windows 11. I connected it to a 27" Samsung monitor, and the image appears blurry. I have to wear glasses to use it, otherwise everything is blurry.

I also tried Linux, but the problem is the same. I changed HDMI cables, but one didn't even work, and I basically had no image on the monitor.

Can you help me?

Yes, I forgot. I tried updating the video drivers and the BIOS, but nothing worked.

My BIOS is AMI F.44, July 19, 2024.

I tried updating it via HP Support Assistant, but nothing changed.

Hi @gunnet,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Smart Tank 516 is showing “Printing page not received” and you’re unable to get your documents printed.
Let’s go through a few steps to figure out what’s causing this and fix it.

1. Check the Basics

Make sure the printer is powered on and there are no error lights (like paper jam, low ink, or Wi-Fi light blinking).

Ensure the printer’s paper tray has paper loaded and that the paper is not jammed or misaligned.

Confirm ink levels are adequate.

2. Verify the Connection

If using Wi-Fi:

Make sure the Wi-Fi light on the printer is solid blue (indicating a stable connection).

If it’s blinking, reconnect the printer to your network using the HP Smart app → Add Printer → Wireless Setup.

If using a USB cable:

Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.

Try a different USB port or cable if possible.

3. Restart Devices

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord for 60 seconds.

Restart your computer or mobile device.

Turn the printer back on and wait until it’s in a ready state.

Try printing again.

4. Clear Print Queue

On your computer:

Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers → [Your Printer] → See what’s printing.

Cancel all pending print jobs.

Try sending a new print job.

5. Update Printer Firmware and Drivers

Open the HP Smart app or go to HP Support for Smart Tank 516.

Check for firmware updates for your printer.

Install the latest driver/software package on your computer or mobile device.

6. Network Troubleshooting (if still an issue)

Ensure the printer and your computer/mobile are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Avoid guest networks or VPN connections while printing.

Move the printer closer to the router to improve signal strength.

I hope this helps.

Hi @gunnet,

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the confusion in the earlier message, due to a technical glitch, the response meant for another customer was merged into this thread. I truly appreciate your patience. Let’s focus on resolving the blurry image issue with your HP Desktop PC (M01-F2000a).

Here are the steps to help troubleshoot and fix the problem:

1. Check Display Resolution

Right-click on your desktop → Display settingsDisplay resolution.

Set it to the native resolution of your Samsung monitor (commonly 1920×1080 or 2560×1440 for a 27″ display).

Apply changes and check if the image sharpness improves.

2. Adjust Scaling Settings

In the same Display settings window, scroll down to Scale & layout.

Set Scale to 100% (or recommended value).

Incorrect scaling can sometimes make text and images appear blurry.

3. Enable ClearType Text

Press Windows + S, type ClearType, and open Adjust ClearType Text.

Ensure Turn on ClearType is checked.

Follow the on-screen steps to fine-tune text clarity.

4. Update AMD Radeon Graphics Driver

Go to AMD Drivers & Support.

Download and install the latest Adrenalin Edition driver for your integrated graphics.

Restart your PC after the installation.

5. Check Monitor Cable and Port

Use a high-quality HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort cable (if your monitor supports it).

Try a different port on the PC and monitor.

Avoid old or damaged cables that may limit resolution/refresh rates.

6. Adjust Monitor Settings

Use the buttons on your Samsung monitor to access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

Reset the monitor to factory defaults.

Confirm that Sharpness and Picture Mode are set appropriately (usually “Standard” or “Game Mode”).

7. Check BIOS Settings (Optional)

Since you’ve updated to BIOS F.44 already, ensure:

Integrated graphics is enabled by default.

No custom scaling or resolution is set in BIOS.

We appreciate your patience, and we’ll make sure to get your display working sharply and clearly.
