Hi @Hariom_08,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop camera is not working and you're unable to find the drivers on the HP Support website, follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Check Device Manager
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Imaging Devices, Cameras, or Other Devices.
- Look for your camera device:
- If you see a yellow triangle or no camera listed, the driver might be missing or corrupted.
Reinstall Camera Driver
- Right-click the camera in Device Manager and choose Uninstall Device.
- After uninstalling, restart your laptop. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.
Use Windows Update
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
- Install any available updates, especially optional driver updates.
Manually Install a Generic Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click the camera device and select Update Driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
- Select a generic USB Video Device driver and click Next.
Visit the Webcam Manufacturer’s Website
- If your laptop’s camera is made by a specific brand (like Realtek or Synaptics), visit their website to download the driver.
Use HP Support Assistant
- Open HP Support Assistant on your laptop (search for it in the Start menu).
- Check for updates under the Drivers and Updates section.
Check BIOS/UEFI Settings
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F10, Esc, or Del during startup).
- Look for any settings related to the camera and ensure it is enabled.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
