i have a hp pavilion i believe is running windows 10 not sure what bit, but i want to connect an external display (my ps4) and it wont detect any no matter which way I try and while my computer itself says all drivers and processors are up to date i ran a pc health check and it says my processor is what needs to be updated and i was wondering how i could do that. i tried the windows update but that says all is up to date as well. but yeah i'm basically trying to get windows 11 so i can mirror my screen from the playstation 4 to the laptop

I do not know of any HP or any other OEM laptops that have HDMI input.  They are not designed to receive a video signal and show it, sorry.  Quite a few ALL-IN-ONES do have an HDMI input

That being said, it is possible to CONTROL it remotely
