Hi Resistencia, thanks for your reply but I have just been told from HP support that the HP UNIVERSAL DOCK G2 will connect two monitors!! via the USB.

Also just found this review;  HP Pavilion 32" 4K UHD All-In-One Intel Core i5 16GB Memory 1TB SSD Sparkling Black 32-b0254 - Best ...    So not so sure??? Regards.

If a USB port is not compatible with DisplayPort you can not see image, you must buy a dock compatible with DisplayLink (see that is link and not port) these dock by software and hardware can transmit video over the USB port.

Here is the link where you can search for a dock compatible with this technology.

I suggest you ask the support where are the specifications that indicate that the USB port is compatible with DisplayPort.

DisplayLink Products list | Synaptics

You put now another different model to the subject, that also does not have DisplayPort compatible port.

Its specs

It ONLY has (no video out port):

Side:

1 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate
1 headphone/microphone combo

Rear:

1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate
2 USB Type-A 10Gbps signaling rate
1 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate

Well, as @resistencia  pointed out : with 3 extra HDMI ports you should be able to connect to more monitors. Do you need 5 external monitors ?

Regards.
