HP ProBook 440 G6 Notebook PC+HP V28
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP V28 display connected to HP ProBook 440 G6 Notebook as external display. The notebook has recommended resolution 1920x1080. For HP V28  display the system recommends resolution 2560x1600. The maximum resolution of HP V28 is 3840x2160. The problem is  as follows: in the Fill To Screen mode the image fit the screen horizontally from left ro right, but does not fit the screen vertically. There are black areas at the bottom and the top of the screen up to 2 cm. And proportions of the images are distorted. In the Fill to Aspect Ration mode there are black areas at all 4 sides. In this mode the images are not distorted but sugnificant part of the screen is not used. How can I make the screen to fit entire display?

Hi,

Right-click on the desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel. From the left pane, click on the Adjust desktop size and position tab. Check the Enable desktop resizing box under resize the desktop if the display setting did not provide a proper fit section. Save the changes and check if Windows 10 fits the screen.

Thanks and Best Regards:
