I have an Envy 795 desktop (3yrs old). I have 2 HP27b monitors, one attached to the Display Port and the other to the HDMI. The one attached to the DP went blank, the monitor is getting power. I switched the blank monitor to the cable from the HDMI port and it works fine, both monitors work fine off the HDMI port, neither work off the DP port. BTW, I got a new DP cable just to make sure that wasn't the issue and neither monitor works with the new DP cable. This would seem to be pretty conclusive that my DP has gone bad. I've done the "hard restart" and CMOS reset steps and neither of those fixed the issues. Am I missing anything? Is this a known issue on the Envy's? My warranty has expired, what are my options? Also, FYI, I am running Windows 11 if that makes any difference, but both monitors were working just fine on Win11 before.this happened. Thanks,

Yes, that's the PC, I'm using the integrated graphics (Intel UHD Graphics 630, no graphics card) and when I tried to update the video driver it said I was using the most current one. But, per you suggestion, I uninstalled and re-installed the latest Intel graphics driver [and also bought a new Display Port cable just for good measure]. Alas, the system is still not seeing the 2nd monitor (on the Display Port), however both monitors work just fine when connected to the HDMI. At this point I'm thinking it's pretty certain to be a DP hardware failure. I called a local company that is an authorized HP repair facility but they said they can't get the part, that I have to go thru the manufacturer. I've had many HP PCs over the last 30+ years and this is the first time I've had an actual hardware port problem, but that's looking like what this is. My PC is out of warranty, any suggestions on how I should proceed to try and get HP to fix this?

out-of-warranty options are different depending on the country!
very often impossible to get this information
but if possible, we would risk replacing the motherboard, if not other choices, and the cost of repair may be quite high
it would probably be cheaper to install a small graphics card!
you have a 310w power supply
see the examples here (it will be necessary to check what is recommended for the chosen model)
