I have inadvertently got the magnifier installed on my monitor. How the heck do you get it off? Second, I have a screensaver I can not have anyone see...I must remove it permantly, I am the worlds biggest screw up. I have 2 big problems....please help me.

Hello barb6434,
I understand that your magnifier is on.
There should be a magnifying glass on the screen, if you click on that you should see an X to close the magnifier.
Also you can Click on the Start button
All Programs
Accessories
Ease of Access Center
Then click on 'Make the computer easier to use' near the bottom.
Then unchecked 'Turn on Magnifier'. Hit OK.
For the screen saver if you right click on the desktop
Click personalize
Click screen saver.
Change to blank.
Since it has not been to long since the changes were made, you can run a system restore.
This will take the system back to when everything was working correctly without affecting your personal files.
Here is a link on how to do a restore.
Let me know how everything goes.

Thank You my knight or knightress...You have saved me from that horrible monster "magnifier". Thank you for your help. And now I think I will go comb my 1 hair, that is left from trying to fix this problem. lol

THANK YOU FOR HELPING THIS ILLITERATE COMPUTER DESTROYER. I OVER THINK THINGS...THEN PANIC. I AM NOW LEARNING THAT THE COMPUTER WILL NOT SELF DESTRUCT ....NO MATTER WHAT I DO....WHAT A RELIEF. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING THERE FOR ME......BARB
