Hi @plumb62,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When you're experiencing green markings and blotches on your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-3000i while watching movies or viewing pictures online, this could be due to several potential issues. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and possibly fix the problem:

Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display issues. Check for the latest driver updates for your graphics card from the manufacturer's website or through Windows Update.

Check the Display Cable and Monitor: Ensure the display cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, etc.) is securely connected to both your computer and your monitor. Try using a different cable or connecting to a different monitor to rule out any hardware issues.

Adjust Graphics Settings: Sometimes, the color settings in your graphics card's control panel may be off. Open your graphics card's control panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel, AMD Radeon Settings) and reset the color settings to default.

Browser or Media Player Issues: If the problem only occurs when using a specific application, such as a web browser or media player, try updating the application or using a different one to see if the issue persists.

Check for Overheating: Overheating can cause graphical glitches. Make sure your computer's cooling system is working correctly and that vents are not blocked.

Scan for Malware: Malware can sometimes cause unusual behavior on your system. Run a full system scan with a reputable antivirus program.

Perform System Updates: Ensure your operating system is up to date. Windows 11 updates can include fixes for compatibility and performance issues.

Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that your computer's graphics card or another hardware component is failing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
