Hi @Ellen69,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your MSN screen appears too small on your HP PC running Windows 8.1, here are a few ways to restore it to normal size:
1: Use Browser Zoom Controls
If you're viewing MSN in a browser (like Edge, Chrome, or Firefox):
- Press Ctrl + 0 → Resets zoom to 100%.
- Press Ctrl + + → Zooms in.
- Press Ctrl + - → Zooms out.
You can also:
- Click the three dots or lines in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Look for the Zoom setting and adjust it to 100%.
2: Adjust Display Scaling
If everything on your screen looks small (not just MSN):
- Right-click on the desktop and choose Screen resolution or Display settings.
- Click Make text and other items larger or smaller.
- Choose 100% (default) or a larger setting if needed.
- Click Apply and restart if prompted.
3: Check MSN App Settings (if using the MSN app)
If you're using the MSN News or Weather app:
- Open the app.
- Look for a settings gear icon or zoom option within the app.
- Reset or adjust the zoom level.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
