Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently acquired a secondhand HP EliteDesk 800 G4 with an i5-8600K and 8GB DDR4 RAM. I decided to install a GT 610 graphics card from my previous PC, but when I tried to start it, I encountered an error: 3 red blinks followed by 3 white blinks. According to HP, this error message indicates a potential graphics chip failure. If I wait for a while, the computer eventually boots up, but it uses the Intel UHD graphics instead. In the device manager, the GT 610 is detected, but even after installing its drivers and restarting, I still get the same error.

HI:

Since the GT 610 is a legacy graphics card, you would need to go into the BIOS and disable the Secure Boot setting.

That should get the GT 610 to work.

If not, you will need to install a supported graphics card.

See the Quickspecs at the link below, page 14 for the list of supported graphics cards by form factor.
