Hi,

Yes they do as they have DP out through the USB-C

Take a look at this HP doc where the specific monitor is also mentioned (number 5)

https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/tech-takes/how-to-daisy-chain-monitors

Hope it helps,

David

What is the maximum number of monitors that can be connected in this way?

And are all screens maintained at 4K \ 60Hz quality?

OK.

I have not forgotten.

Looking at this a bit further, there is some misleading info out there and I am trying to get a better understanding.

In my opinion, it would be difficult to use the U28 in a daisy chain setup.

At first, my answer was yes because of the info provided by HP.

If we look in the doc I linked above under "Best Monitors for daisy-chaining" we see the U28 4K and in specs is stated

2 x USB-C ...

However if we look at the actual ports on the monitor there is only one USB-C port.

and the manual only mentions one USB-C port

so I do not see how you could daisy chain the monitor. But I shall ask.

Now about how many monitors (in general) you can connect depends on the PC and the resolution of the monitors. So a normal notebook with a USB-C alt mode  DP 1.2 would be able to connect one monitor at that resolution (4K) and refresh rate (60Hz).

Regards,

David
