hp w2207h
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is something I should have done over a decade ago. The four front buttons (menu, +, -, select) on my hp w2207h monitor buttons don't work properly. If I press any of them it's either going to do nothing or do something random. For example any of those four buttons can do nothing, give me the volume options, switch my video input, go up or down in the menu or act like the select button.

It's fine on desktop since I can adjust things other ways, but it's really annoying when I play games on a console. Is there anything I can do?

@omegabeam It's possible the OSD has been locked out and the best/only way to get it unlocked and start using the buttons again, is mentioned below:

  • press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.
  • Refer to user guide for more details: click here & check under 4-7 on the guide.
