hp u32 4k hdr monitor

i cannot change the brightness on my monitor using its own controls (they are greyed out) and i cannot change it in windows 10 as there is not brightness bar?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your HP Monitor.

Kindly refer to the steps below to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

You need to open the OSD (On Screen Display) Menu by using the buttons located on the bottom right corner of the display.  You need to press the Menu button, then go to the Management section and initiate the factory defaults/reset option.

OK i have done the factory reset but the brightness button is still greyed out?
