@nayleen, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it must be when your HP OMEN powers on but your monitors, keyboard, and mouse aren't responding. Let's walk through some steps to help you get back up and running.
Basic Power and Connection Checks
- Ensure the power supply unit (PSU) switch is turned on (if applicable).
- Confirm that all cables (HDMI/DisplayPort, USB, power) are securely connected.
- Try different USB ports for the keyboard and mouse (preferably USB 2.0 ports on the back panel).
Monitor Signal Test
- Since your monitor works with your PS5, the issue is likely with the PC or GPU.
- Try connecting only one monitor directly to the GPU (not motherboard) using HDMI or DisplayPort.
- If your OMEN has integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU, make sure the monitor is plugged into the dedicated GPU port.
Check for POST (Power-On Self-Test)
- When you power on the PC, do you hear any beeps or see LED indicators?
- If there are no beeps or lights, it could indicate a hardware issue (RAM, GPU, or motherboard).
Reset CMOS
- Power off the PC and unplug it.
- Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Open the case and remove the CMOS battery (a coin-sized battery on the motherboard) for 5 minutes, then reinsert it.
- This resets the BIOS and can resolve hardware detection issues.
Try Booting with Minimal Hardware
- Disconnect all peripherals except:
- One monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Remove any extra RAM sticks or expansion cards (if comfortable doing so) and try booting with just one stick of RAM.
Check for Signs of Life
- Do the fans spin?
- Do any LEDs light up on the motherboard or GPU?
- If not, the issue could be with the power supply or motherboard.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
