Hi @1CR4450JQC,

If your HP Series 3 Pro 21.45 inch FHD Monitor is not powering on, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure Power Connection:

    • Verify that the power cord is securely connected to both the monitor and a working wall outlet.
    • Try using a different power outlet to rule out any power source issues.
  2. Check Power Button:

    • Ensure that the power button is not stuck. Press the power button firmly once to see if the monitor powers on.
    • If there's no response, try holding the power button for 10 seconds to disable any Power Button Lockout feature.
  3. Inspect Video Cable:

    • Make sure the video cable is properly connected to both the monitor and your computer.
    • If using an HDMI or VGA cable, try replacing it with a different one to check if the cable is faulty.
  4. Conduct a Self-Test:

    • Disconnect all cables except the power cord and turn on the monitor.
    • If the monitor is working correctly, it should display a self-test image.
  5. Use Diagnostic Patterns:

    • You can also test the monitor by using the built-in test pattern generator, which helps in diagnosing visual anomalies.
  6. Check for any Indicator Lights:

    • Check if there’s any LED indicator light on the monitor. Usually, a white light indicates the monitor is on, while an amber light could mean it's in standby mode.
