I have emailed hpstore-uk@hp.com and  hpstoresalesuk@hp.com but neither bother to respond.

 

My question was:

Proposed purchase of  HP Series 5 Pro 23.8 inch FHD Monitor - 524pf
 
 
Your website terms state:
 
As a Consumer Customer you may also change your mind and cancel your purchase at any time, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days after your order is delivered in full if you've handled and inspected your HP product to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning (like you would if you were in a shop), and you’re not 100% happy 
 
Please confirm that this means that I may assemble the monitor and connect it to my computer so I can see that I am happy with controls, brightness and so on.
 
ONE - I need an official answer to this question
 
TWO - Is this lack of response typical of HP service?

We are a peer-to-peer forum of mostly volunteers.

 

Typical?

 

Unknown, though according to the GB store website, email requests appear to be the slower method of contacting HP Store Sales / Support.
