Mouse will click on random things without me doing anything. When I try to click on what I want the mouse will move away and it takes several trys to get it to click on what I want and sometimes once I click on something it will randomly close out. The touchscreen will also not work. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand the mouse does not respond or work as expected. However, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
-
In Windows, search for and open Mouse settings.
-
Select Additional mouse options.
-
On the Mouse Properties window, select a tab for the settings you want to change.
-
Buttons: Customize the left and right buttons, change the double-click speed, or highlight items without holding down the mouse button.
-
Pointers: Change the pointer schemes or select a visual style for the pointer.
-
Pointer Options: Change the pointer speed, default behavior, or visibility.
-
Wheel: Customize the vertical or horizontal scrolling of the mouse wheel.
-
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
