hi

For many models you will not find information, no documents, and you still have to be able to identify the model used.
There is a solution, but imprecise, and may not be easy to execute

No, I am fully aware that it is up to my mouse and not my machine, If you read carefully I said that it is the mouse that came with my HP Envy. It doesn’t have a name or anything so I just called it the HP Envy 750 etc. mouse.

hi @dxvijxy

Personally, that's what I thought I understood.
read my answer again, so
It may be difficult or impossible to identify the model of your mouse
And even if we get there, it will only be indicated for a few models..
In most cases you will not find documents specifying this ..
I was not sure, so not mentioned

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=Z5M39AA&searchby=product
but with the computer model, we have a reference here
801523-001
Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Kit - Yellowstone Vesuvius
And even with that I had found nothing, and no certainty that it is your model
I then looked if we could find with software, but the only result was the manipulation given
