picture wont load on screen

REPAIR code is QC7D7D-9T7BGF-QF8XGK-Q2D203 ON MY OMEN BY HP OBELISK DESKTOP PC

a week after replacing a faulty power supply from a power surge the pc shut down and now wont load the screen up at all i dont know if its best for me to repair it myself or if hp has a system where i can send it in to be fixed for a cost after the warrenty has expired

The test found a problem with the display adapter. The adapter or the system board may need to be replaced.
