My HDMI cord for the ps5 is connected but does not show in devices or projection screen. (hp all in one desktop 24-cb1xxx)

What is your 24-cb1xxx machine ? It should have SAME ports as the following machine

 

            HP All-in-One 24-cb1002na

 

It has  1 HDMI-out 1.4. To be able to connect a PS5 to use its screen, you need a HDMI-in port which it does NOT have.
