HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Core i3-4130 My Computer DisplayPort video output from SAMSUNG 50MU7000 series TV with "DisplayPort to HDMI" cable (Cable supports INCA brand and 4K) [web link removed] says there is no TV signal. There is no problem connecting to the non-4K TV with the same cable. When I contacted Samsung service, the output of the device was not compatible with 4K TV. Since this TV also does not have VGA input, I have to use "DisplayPort to HDMI" on TV. So where does the problem come from and what should I do to solve this problem?

As you said: "There is no problem connecting to the non-4K TV with the same cable." We know where the culprit is: it is the TV HDMI port or the HDMI cable. Please try a different cable which supports HDMI version 2.0

Many thanks for posting back the result. I did test this on my TV around Easter 2018.

I also did test with older x360 machines using HDMI around Christmas 2016 but those HDMI version 1.4 ports did not work.
