My HP 23es monitor when left on will flash a "No signal" message when my computer has gone to sleep. The message stays on and doesn't go away or move to a different part of the screren. When I wake my computer, the message goes away, but I can still see it causing a slight flicker in the middle of the display which is really annoying. Any suggestions for getting rid of this message beyond turning my monitor off or not allowing my computer to sleep?

Actually I just found a check under OSD Messages to turn off the "No Input Signal Warning," so I think I likely resolved this issue by turning that off. Went to Menu Control>OSD Messages to turn it off.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out,
As I understand the HP monitor screen is unstable,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Have you checked with an alternate monitor?
Did you reset the monitor back to factory defaults?
Please follow the below steps:
1. Disconnect the power cord from the monitor.
2. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
3. Plug the power cord back into pc.
This should clear your current video source issue and your OSD issue by returning the settings to factory.
If you haven't done it yet, please check with an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,
if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,
if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here
If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)
