Screen dimming on HP Pavilion All - in - One Model No. 23 - q026. I saw this happening when it went to sleep and upon waking up it would flicker and dim (almost to a point that it was unreadable) I opened settings and moved the brightness bar adjuster and it made no difference. I was moving the mouse and the screen came back to full brightness leaving me to think there was a cable issue and moving the mouse cable moved the power cable causing it to dim, however, I moved the cable around to try and pinpoint the issue to no avail. I have updated the latest driver which was released October 18th this year and can't find one newer. updated BIOS and anything else that was dated. I'm stumped. This was a Hard Disk gone bad and replaced the disk for a family memeber and reinstalled windows 10 including the pain staking task of downloading all drivers necessary and it appears to be working great except the screen is now dim (about 15% if I had to guess) and I can't get it to come back. Any suggestions are welcome. I have already toggled the dynamic display setting to on and changed the dim to 100% to no avail. I've since toggled it back off since it made no difference.
thanks in advance,
