Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My hp elite L2201x monitor is flickering. I use it as a secondary monitor and my computer is recognizing it but it mostly stays black. Sometimes it flickers on for a moment and I can use it but then it goes dark again and Is still recognized by computer but it's black.
