screen starts flickering from where the start button is.. cant be stopped

screen starts flickering from the bottom left corner of monitor. can not be stopped. happens with or without mouse connection. have to go to task manager or hard reset. have tried hard reset several times, everything is updated in windows as well as HP. also ran tests on hp assistant.

• When was the last time it worked without these issues?
• Have you updated the Graphics and Chipset drivers?
• Have you checked the display on an external monitor?

Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:

I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting, 

If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
