HP 240 Black Bluetooth Mouse

when I scroll down it's going up some times some times down first I thought it's site issue but, it's happening in multiple sites in different devices as well. I tried it in different wired mouse I have it's working fine. But in this one I have that issue

Thanks for explaining that so clearly—it definitely sounds like the scroll wheel on your HP 240 Bluetooth Mouse is misbehaving, and I can imagine how annoying that must be when you're just trying to get things done.

Here are a few steps recommended  that can help resolve this kind of erratic scrolling:

 

Check Battery:

  • Ensure that the mouse is adequately charged or replace the batteries if they are low, as low battery can sometimes affect performance.

Reconnect Bluetooth:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Remove the mouse from the list of connected devices, then re-pair it.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices nearby that could interfere with the Bluetooth connection.

Update Mouse Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager, locate the mouse under Mice and other pointing devices, right-click, and select Update Driver.
  • Alternatively, visit HP Support to check for any available driver updates for your mouse model.

Adjust Scrolling Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Mouse and adjust the scroll settings. You might try changing the scroll interval to see if it affects the behavior.

Test on Another Computer:

  • If possible, test the mouse on another computer with Windows 11 to see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is with the mouse itself.

Reset Mouse Settings:

  • Sometimes resetting the mouse to its default settings can resolve performance issues. Check the user manual for instructions specific to your model.

Windows Update:

  • Ensure that Windows 11 is up-to-date as recent updates may contain patches that improve device compatibility and performance.
