Hi @Kinggwaap359,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the touch screen on your HP Pavilion x360 Convertible. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Update Drivers:
- Go to the Device Manager (you can right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager").
- Locate the Human Interface Devices section and find the touch screen driver.
- Right-click on the touch screen driver and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Roll Back Driver:
- If updating the driver doesn't help, you can try rolling back the driver to the previous version.
- In the Device Manager, right-click on the touch screen driver, select "Properties," go to the "Driver" tab, and click "Roll Back Driver" if the option is available.
Uninstall and Reinstall:
- In the Device Manager, right-click on the touch screen driver and select "Uninstall device."
- After uninstalling, restart your computer. The system should automatically reinstall the driver upon reboot.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.
BIOS/UEFI Update:
- Visit the HP support website for your specific laptop model and check if there are any BIOS or UEFI updates available. Sometimes, these updates include fixes for hardware-related issues.
System Restore:
- If the issue started recently after a driver update or software installation, you can try using System Restore to revert your system to a previous state.
- Type "Create a restore point" in the Windows search bar and open the system properties. Go to the "System Protection" tab and click on "System Restore" to follow the steps.
Remember to back up your important data before making any significant changes to your system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

What kind of help you guys are offering? HP spends a hell lot of budget in customer support care and they don't even think of doing their job.
This screen issue is persisting for both OSes (Windows/Ubuntu). I just wander what kind of problem laptop manufacturer is solving to introduce so many problems.
This is my system spec:
OS; ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
processor: AMD® Ryzen 7 4700u with radeon graphics × 8
I do not see touch screen or Pen is working with my current configuration.
If there is any solution patching to Ubuntu.. Please help us find a link to solve this issue.
Thanks,
Aditya
