I have used this video card on every version of windows until I got to windows 10. Once I updated because windows 7 is no longer getting updates I can's install my video card, here is the error: Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if manually installing the W8 graphics driver works on W10.
First, download and install this free file utility. The 1st file listed at the top of the page is for 64 bit.
Then download and save, but do not run the W8 graphics driver for your GeForce 6200 graphics card the specs for your PC indicate that it comes with.

After you saved the graphics driver file, right click on it and select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.
Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the file into its folder name.
Once that is done, go to the device manager.
Click on the graphics adapter with the code 35 problem.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that 7-Zip created.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Unfortunately my issue is a motherboard issue. Without new drivers or a bios update windows 10 will not use my pci express graphics card. Doesn't even matter what card I put it the same error will continue until HP provides an update to microsoft that allows my board firmware to properly identify for windows 10

HP retired support for that model since it is more than 10 years old, and it was never supported for W10 in the first place, since it was made prior to August of 2013.

So, there won't be any updates forthcoming for your PC.
Have you tried installing a different but slightly newer graphics card?
I know this card works on W10 because I have one in my old HP dc7900 business desktop PC, and it is cheap.

I am currently using an radeon 7700 from xfx. I also tried radeon hd 5670 and hd 4650 and still no luck. The simple truth is even though asus made the board, hp never let them have anything to do with the bios. So long story short I have no chance of running windows 10 simply because hp wont continue to support the board unlike asus. Really wish I would have just custom built the computer myself. I can still get bios updates on all my asus and asrock boards from before this one. Just really disappointed that hp can be troubled to let microsoft support this board like a lot of other system configures have.
