Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey Everyone,

I have a Z420 worstation with Windows 10 1809 installed & am unable to upgrade my NVIDIA drivers beyond the older 21.21.13.4200 (18/10/2016) 

on the HP assistant, I downloaded the latest package for Windows 10 & my Z420 (419.17 via SP95208 from the HP driver downloads page for my computer. 

when I try to run this update it says "NVIDIA installer cannot continue. this NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" 

 

Any suggestions or do I need to upgrade my graphics card 😞

Hi, Chas:

 

If you look at the nVidi a site, the latest W10 driver available for that gpu is 342.00, 2016.10.27.

There isn't anything newer that will work.

 

Your GPU is not supported by the sp95208 driver package, which is why it won't install.

 

Take a look at the list of supported graphics adapters...
