usb port has a lightning bolt symbol next to it. What does that mean?

I have an older HP Pavilion 23-q140t CTO.  On the bottom front of the machine are two usb ports.  One has a Lightning bolt symbol beside it.  What does that mean?  I am trying to determine how to connect a second display/monitor.  Will this usb port work?  I already have one additional monitor connected and it uses the HDMI connection to put a Dell monitor in service.  I want to have three screens in service, the hp screen + an acer monitor + the Dell already in service.

Back I/O:

In this case, it simply means you can charge other portable devices when it sleeps.

Your machine has 1 HDMI port which is HDMI out port, you should be able to use it to connect an external monitor.
