Hi @Rakesh031298,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop running Windows 11 is experiencing screen flickering, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
Update Display Drivers
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Display adapters section.
- Right-click on your display driver and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Check Refresh Rate
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Scroll down and click on Advanced display settings.
- Check the Refresh rate and ensure it is set to the recommended value.
Disable Hardware Acceleration
- If you're experiencing flickering in specific applications (like browsers), try disabling hardware acceleration:
- For Chrome: Go to Settings > Advanced > System, and toggle off Use hardware acceleration when available.
- For Edge: Go to Settings > System and performance, and toggle off Use hardware acceleration when available.
Adjust Graphics Settings
- Right-click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel (if you have an NVIDIA GPU).
- Go to Change resolution and ensure that the resolution is set correctly.
Run the Windows Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any pending updates.
Check Display Connections (for external monitors)
- If you’re using an external monitor, check the cable connections and try a different cable if possible.

Perform a Clean Boot
- Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
- In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
- Check the Hide all Microsoft services box and then click Disable all.
- Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager. Disable all startup items.
- Restart your laptop.
Reset the Laptop
- If none of the above works, you might consider resetting your laptop to factory settings, but ensure you back up your data first.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
