Hi @Rakesh031298,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop running Windows 11 is experiencing screen flickering, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Update Display Drivers

  • Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Display adapters section.
  • Right-click on your display driver and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Check Refresh Rate

  • Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
  • Scroll down and click on Advanced display settings.
  • Check the Refresh rate and ensure it is set to the recommended value.

Disable Hardware Acceleration

  • If you're experiencing flickering in specific applications (like browsers), try disabling hardware acceleration:
    • For Chrome: Go to Settings > Advanced > System, and toggle off Use hardware acceleration when available.
    • For Edge: Go to Settings > System and performance, and toggle off Use hardware acceleration when available.

Adjust Graphics Settings

  • Right-click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel (if you have an NVIDIA GPU).
  • Go to Change resolution and ensure that the resolution is set correctly.

Run the Windows Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any pending updates.

Check Display Connections (for external monitors)

  • If you’re using an external monitor, check the cable connections and try a different cable if possible.

Perform a Clean Boot

  • Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
  • In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
  • Check the Hide all Microsoft services box and then click Disable all.
  • Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager. Disable all startup items.
  • Restart your laptop.

Reset the Laptop

  • If none of the above works, you might consider resetting your laptop to factory settings, but ensure you back up your data first.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
