The wrong ram was installed.
The original 6gb (3) sticks have been put back.
Desktop PC turns on, but now there is no monitor.
Screen stays black. HP w2338h.
Have I damaged the motherboard??
Is there any hope here??

Hp repair did not help and suggested I contact crucial.com. I did. They had me remove the Battery and reboot after 15 min.
No Joy! Same as before. Their next suggestion was to to a factory recovery process. I did no joy! I ended up with a very old win 7. and after hours of up dates I finally got win installed. Still NO JOY! 2 sticks in and only socket 1 is working. Also only one monitor. I called Geek Squad and they are having me take it in on mon 8/3.
Thanks all for you help and suggestions
