My 930 Creator mouse is connected to my computer and operating the basic controls (left click, right click, scroll) however every time I enter HP Accessory Centre I am prompted to Add New Device and I cannot access the settings to assign new buttons etc.

Hi @shiv12345,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be an issue with the HP Accessory Center recognizing your HP 930 Creator mouse properly. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Update HP Accessory Center: Ensure that your HP Accessory Center software is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix compatibility issues with newer devices.
- Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager on your computer and look for any entries related to your HP 930 Creator mouse. If there are any yellow exclamation marks or errors next to the mouse entry, try updating the driver or reinstalling it.
- Reinstall HP Accessory Center: If updating the software doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Accessory Center. This can sometimes fix software glitches that are preventing proper recognition of the mouse.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Some devices, including mice, may require firmware updates for full functionality. Check HP's website for any available firmware updates for your HP 930 Creator mouse and install them if necessary.
- Try a Different USB Port: Sometimes, USB ports can have issues with certain devices. Try plugging the mouse into a different USB port on your computer and see if that resolves the problem.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the issue and access the settings for your HP 930 Creator mouse.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
